- What is mounted wood, or mounted board?

Mounted wood or board, is the wood equivalent to mounted canvas. But instead of linen, a thin sheet of wood is mounted to the frame, sanded and primed. The result is a stronger, more resilient support, only slightly heavier, but with a much cleaner (not sharper) edge.

 

- Are the drawings framed?

All drawings and works on paper can be framed. I can provide very simple and nice frames from 10 to 30 euros, depending on the size of the work. Framing is no problem for small works and remains possible for works above A4. Though, for such works I recommend that you consider getting it framed locally, as you will have to consider the increase of the weight for shipment, as well as its fragility.

Alternatively bigger works on paper may be shipped in a protective tube or an adequate envelope.
